Chapter One
Their eyes met on the first time in high school. It wasn’t any special day, the clouds still gracefully float in the sky, plants sway with the hot afternoon breeze, carrying some sand and dust with them, trees rustled and birds chirped amongst the branches…everything was still in their places when history was created. It wasn’t such a great history to the eyes of many but it was for David and Sharon, as something blossomed within the realms of friendship.
David was a simple lad, not really the famous type in the school, not very good looking, and was discredited for his short stature in comparison to the other guys, naughty and you could say that he was quite a menace. On the other hand, Sharon was tall and pretty, an interesting and amazingly loud person, chases after boys that disturb her and practically acting like a guy. Funny how they eventually became friends…but it was many factors that attracted David to befriend with Sharon as she was a very cheerful person with much laughter. They got closer as friends and exchanged written letters of almost everything and anything. The distance of being in different classes didn’t bother them at all. Many things were shared and laughed about. It wasn’t long before David found himself being fond of Sharon and had a crush on her.
But David was challenged gravitationally, and it was a message too hard to convey yet to imagine about. He didn’t like that part of himself. And as if things weren’t tight enough, Sharon had to leave town to Hong Kong for further studies. David was devastated. As for Sharon, guess it wasn’t much for her…
“。。。我决不能失去妳，想妳就像是呼吸。。。不管妳在那里，我一定会找到妳。”
